We are the only company that works with all insurance companies, banks and telecoms. We have offices in Rijeka, Zagreb and Osijek. Kompare.hr started in 2012, and it has been growing at an annual rate of 30% in the last 7 years. With substantial investment from Invera Equity partners received at the end of 2022, and with all of the experience, knowledge and market opportunities, for the last couple of years we are now growing at over 50% annually.

Who are we looking for?
We need a maverick who can read between the lines and isn’t afraid to go off the beaten path. When our sales team needs a report or tool, we want you to deliver more than what was asked for. We want someone who can decipher the underlying needs, extract actionable insights from data, and provide unique solutions that surpass the initial request. Because you’ve understood the essence of the problem, you’ve grasped the context, and you’ve anticipated the necessary outcomes.
This role requires an ability to think on your feet, a love for constant learning, and a knack for turning complex problems into clear solutions. If you’re still reading, you just might be the one we’ve been searching for.
Ready to dive into our tech stack? Our Current Tools:
- MongoDB (with aggregation pipelines): The knowledge of mongo aggregations is a must-have.
- ElasticSearch: We use it extensively, so familiarity with it is a big plus.
- RapidMiner and Python
What we’re really looking for:
- Deep expertise in business-focused data processing – we need someone who excels at making sense of messy, real-world data and can connect it directly to business outcomes. You understand that every data point potentially represents a customer journey, a business opportunity, or a process improvement
- Proven mastery in transforming raw data into business insights – you’re exceptional at building systems that turn complex user interactions into actionable business intelligence. The specific tools you’ve used matter less than your ability to bridge the gap between raw data and business value
- Expert-level understanding of data quality in a business context – you know how to detect patterns in seemingly chaotic data and understand their business implications. When you see anomalies or inconsistencies, you think about both technical solutions and business impact
- Most importantly: The ability to transfer this business-focused expertise to our stack. If you’ve successfully turned messy data into clear business insights using other tools, we’re confident you can master our technology
